Christmas Chronicles 2

During the long dark weeks of Covid lockdowns in Melbourne, I got to celebrate Christmas everyday as I helped out with the completion of Netflix’s “Christmas Chronicles 2” (2020) at Wētā FX. My role was to animate and bring life to the adorable Christmas Elves and help connect the digital character with the live action actors, Goldie Hawn (Mrs Claus), Kurt Russel (Santa Claus) and Julian Dennison (Belsnickel). All facial performances were keyframe animated and the characters performances were a combination of motion capture and keyframe. Although this film might not be as recognized and awarded as some of my other projects, it was still great to contribute to the much loved Christmas Chronicles world, one which my family and I will revisit every year.
